Well Person Medical Screening

Medical Heath Screening

We offer a comprehensive screening service for those who would like a general health check.

Following a detailed medical history check and physical examination we will carry out an electrocardiogram and take a specimen of blood which is sent away for a number of tests (including PSA test for men).

Routine urine testing is also carried out. Other investigations such as Spirometry to test lung function and Audiogram to check for hearing defects can be done here at the clinic.

If x-rays or ultrrasound scans are required they will be done at another venue where we have negotiated a very competitive rate.

Why Private General Practice?

In the last few years the NHS General Practice has become more concerned with targets and statistics as the Government has decided we should be paid by results.

I believe that this way of working is not in the best interest of the Doctor/Patient relationship.

all medications have side effects

Good General Practice should be about building relationships with Patients, having the time to listen, examine and advise before embarking on drug therapy as all medications have side effects.
